WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Refer to Transmission Controls
for schematic and connector information.
Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The GSM has two sensors that monitor the rotary knob position and LEDs indicating the selected range.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition GSM P0814:00 Transmission Range Display Circuit: No Sub Type Information This CMDTC sets if the GSM is sensing an issue with the GSMLED indication. GSM P0915:00 Gear Shift Position Circuit "A" Range/Performance: No Sub Type Information This CMDTC sets if the GSM detects a fault with one or both sensors measuring the rotary knob position. Possible Sources
- Connectors damaged or pushed-out terminals, circuitry open or high resistance in the voltage feed wiring to the GSM or a loose ground.
- Discharged battery/charging system
- GSM
- J1 VERIFY THE BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED
