    Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

The PCM monitors the OSS and TSS speed sensors to detect clutch faults that may cause Reverse in forward range or a forward gear in Reverse. The PCM can also detect a clutch that is failed off and might cause the vehicle to roll backwards in Drive or forward in Reverse. A misadjusted selector lever cable may also cause this condition (Column shift only).
