Gearshift Lever: Installation

- Connect the gearshift cables and install the gearshift lever assembly.
- Install the gearshift cable bolts.
Torque
: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
- Install the gearshift lever retaining nuts and grab handle support bracket.
Torque
: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)

NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.
Remove the gearshift lever locking pin and discard.
- Adjust the gearshift cables. Refer to: Gearshift Cable Adjustment .
- Install the gearshift lever boot. Refer to: Gearshift Lever Boot .
- Install the floor console. Refer to: Floor Console .
