Fuel Tank Filler Pipe: Removal

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting .
Disconnect the battery. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .
Drain the fuel tank. Refer to: Fuel Tank Draining .
1. Release the clamp and position the fuel filler pipe aside.
  Torque
  
  : 35 lb.in (4 Nm)
2. Detach the clip and disconnect the EVAP canister vent tube.
3. Disconnect the quick release coupling and position aside the hose. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .

Loosen the bolts and remove the luggage hooks.
Torque

: 21 lb.ft (29 Nm)

1. Remove the screws.

2. Remove the push pins and the trim panel.

2. Remove the clip and LH wheel arch liner.

1. Detach the clip and position aside the vent hose.
2. Remove the bolt and fuel tank filler pipe assembly.
