Fuel Vaporizer System Glow Plug: Removal

NOTE: Do not use silicone based sprays or lubricants on any components installed onto or around the diesel exhaust system or intake air distribution and filtering system. Silicone reacts with the Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) sensors and may cause permanent damage to the NOx sensors.

Position vehicle on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
Disconnect the fuel vaporizer system glow plug electrical connector and wire retainer.

- Disconnect the fuel vaporizer system glow plug quick release coupling from the fuel vaporizer system pump. Remove the bracket bolt and detach the line routing retainer. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
- Torque
  : 177 lb.in (20 Nm)

Remove the fuel vaporizer system glow plug.
Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)
