Reductant Pressure Line: Installation

NOTE: During the removal or installation of components, cap, tape or otherwise appropriately protect all openings and tubes/fittings to prevent the ingress of dirt or other contamination. Remove caps, tape and other protective materials prior to installation.
    • Attach the reductant pressure line retainers.

    1. Install the reductant pressure line and then connect the reductant pressure line connector. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .

  1. NOTE: Make sure the reductant pressure line heat shield is installed back in position. Failure to do so can cause system overheating or freeze up.

    Install the reductant injector reductant pressure line heat shield.

    1. Connect the reductant pump electric connector.
    2. Connect the reductant pump pressure line quick release coupling to the reductant pump. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .

  2. Attach the reductant pressure line retainers to the reductant tank straps.
