Fuel Injector Supply Tube: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

NOTE: Make sure that new fuel injector supply tubes are installed.

NOTE: Install the new fuel injector supply tubes finger tight at this stage.
1. NOTE: Use a back-up wrench on the fuel injector supply tube fittings.
  
  Tighten the fuel injector supply tube flare nuts at the fuel rail.
  
  Torque: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)
2. Tighten the fuel injector supply tube flare nuts at the fuel injectors in the following stages.
  Torque: Stage 1: 133 lb.in (15 Nm) Stage 2: Wait 30s Stage 3: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
3. Tighten the fuel injector supply tube flare nuts at the fuel rail.
  Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
4. Position the fuel injector fuel return line back and attach the fuel injector fuel return line.

Connect the battery. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect - Vehicles With: Dual Batteries .
Bleed the Fuel System. Refer to: Fuel System Bleeding .
Remove the oil filler cap. Install the engine appearance cover, position the hose back and install the oil filler cap.
