Handles, Locks, Latches and Entry Systems - Overview

Overview
The handles, locks, latches, and entry systems consist of the following:
Main Components:
- BCM
- DDM (with passenger door one-touch windows)
- Door latches
- Door lock control switches
- DRDM (with passenger door one-touch windows)
- Exterior front door handles containing lock/unlock sensors
- Horn
- IKT (without passenger door one-touch windows)
- Keyless entry antennas
- Lock actuators
- Passive key (with passenger door one-touch windows)
- PCM
- PDM (with passenger door one-touch windows)
- PRDM (with passenger door one-touch windows)
Main Features:
- Autolock
- Auto-unlock
- Fuel filler door lock (if equipped)
- Panic alarm
- Passive entry (if equipped)
- Power door locks
- RKE)
The power door lock/unlock feature locks or unlocks the doors, tailgate, and fuel filler door (if equipped) upon a request from an interior door lock control switch, passive entry system (if equipped), valid programmed key (RKE transmitter), or mechanical key in the driver door lock cylinder. The power door locking system functions independently of the ignition status or vehicle speed.
The tailgate comes equipped with either a manual or electronic lock.
If equipped with a fuel filler door lock, the fuel filler door lock operates when the driver door lock is electronically activated.
