Internal transmission concerns
Transmission fluid overfull		 INSPECT the transmission fluid cooler, transmission fluid cooler tubes and transmission fluid thermal bypass valve for damage or plugging. INSTALL new components as necessary.
INSPECT the engine cooling system for damage and correct operation. For 2.7L, REFER to: Engine Cooling . For 3.5L, REFER to: Engine Cooling .
INSPECT transmission fluid cooler and transmission fluid cooler tubes for leaks. SERVICE as required.
REFER to: Automatic Transmission - 2.7L EcoBoost (238kW/324PS) . REFER to: Automatic Transmission - 3.5L Duratec (212kW/278PS) .
REFER to: Transmission Fluid Level Check .
Coolant in transmission fluid Transmission fluid warmer internal leak INSTALL a new transmission fluid warmer. REFER to: Transmission Fluid Warmer .
Vibration -- a high frequency (20-80 Hz) that is felt through the seat or gear shifter. Changes with engine speed Transmission fluid cooler tubes grounded CHECK the transmission fluid cooler tubes. REPAIR as necessary.
