Check
Vehicles equipped with a 2.7L GTDI engine

- Remove the bolts.
- Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
- Loosen clamps and disconnect the air outlet tubes.

NOTE: Connect the air outlet tubes and MAF sensor connector with the air cleaner positioned aside, to prevent DTC's to be set and dust or dirt from entering the intake while running the engine.
- Position aside the air cleaner.
- Connect the air outlet tubes.
- Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
All vehicles
- Remove the transmission fluid level indicator,

NOTE: With the selector in PARK, the engine at idle and foot pressed on the brake, select the gears into each position and allow engagement for a minimum of ten seconds. Check the transmission fluid level by installing and removing the transmission fluid level indicator. Adjust the transmission fluid level.NOTE: Correct transmission fluid level at normal operating temperature is 82 deg.C-93 deg.C (180 deg.F-200 deg.F).

- Low transmission fluid level or below operating temperature.
- High transmission fluid level.
Vehicles equipped with a 2.7L GTDI engine
- Correct transmission fluid level at normal operating temperature 82 deg.C-93 deg.C (180 deg.F-200 deg.F).
- Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
- Install the air cleaner. Refer to: Air Cleaner .
