Roof Opening Panel Motor: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: Do not replace the roof opening panel glass motor and the shield motor individually. They must both be replaced as a pair.

NOTE: The roof opening panel shield should be fully open so the spring tension does not move the shield drive cable mechanisms.

Fully open the roof opening panel shield.

Lower the headliner. Refer to: Headliner - Lowering .
Roof Opening Panel Motor - Glass
1. Disconnect the harness electrical connector.
2. Remove the roof opening panel glass motor bolts and the motor.
  Torque: 34 lb.in (3.8 Nm)

1. Disconnect the harness electrical connector.
2. Remove the roof opening panel shield motor bolts and the motor.
  Torque: 34 lb.in (3.8 Nm)
