Clutch Slave Cylinder - 5-Speed Manual Transmission - MTX75: Installation

NOTE: Make sure that a new component is installed.

Apply a continuous bead of sealant to the back of the new slave cylinder.

: Motorcraft® Gasket Maker / TA-16 (WSK-M2G348-A5)

1. NOTE: Use adhesive tape to cover the input shaft splines to prevent damage to the input shaft seal.
  
  Apply tape to input shaft splines.
2. Install the clutch slave cylinder.
3. NOTE: Make sure that new components are installed.
  
  Install the bolts.
  
  Torque
  
  : 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
4. Remove and discard the tape.
