Thermostat Housing: Removal

- 1.
Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- 4.
Release the clamps, disconnect the heater core hose and position the heater core hose aside. Remove the oil filter cap and the engine appearance cover. Reinstall the oil cap.Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

- Disconnect the ECT sensor.
- Remove the bracket nut.
- Release the tabs, remove the harness clip and position the engine harness aside.
- 7.
Remove the hose clamp and bolt and remove the thermostat housing.Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
Torque: 17 lb.ft (23 Nm)
