Coolant Pump
Cooling System hoses or tubes
EGR cooler without coolant/exhaust crosscontaminationPerform coolant test procedure. For additional information, Refer to: Coolant Test . NOTE: *Except as part of a new engine or short block installation.Major coolant loss, including empty coolant bottle, more than 24 hours before repair*Evidence of stop leak being used*Coolant is being replaced*Cooling system overheating condition is evident or suspected*Perform cooling system flush. For additional information, Refer to: Cooling System Flushing - Without Oil Contamination . Any of the following components have been replaced (except as part of a new engine or short block installation):
Oil cooler
EGR cooler with coolant/exhaust crosscontamination
Cylinder headIf no oil contamination of the coolant, perform cooling system flush. For additional information, Refer to: Cooling System Flushing - Without Oil Contamination . If coolant is contaminated with oil, perform with-contamination cooling system flush. For additional information, Refer to: Cooling System Flushing - With Oil Contamination .
