Fuel Tank Filler Pipe: Removal

NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation steps.
- 1.
With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- 2.
Drain the fuel tank. Refer to: Fuel Tank Draining .
- 3.NOTE: Some residual fuel may remain in the fuel tank filler pipe. Carefully drain any residual fuel into a suitable container.
- Remove the fuel tank filler pipe bracket bolt.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Loosen the fuel tank filler pipe hose clamp and remove the hose from the fuel tank.
- Remove the fuel tank filler pipe bracket bolt.
