P2100 - Throttle Actuator A Control Motor Circuit / Open

P2100 - THROTTLE ACTUATOR A CONTROL MOTOR CIRCUIT / OPEN

Description:  This DTC sets when a PCM fault flag is set indicating the motor circuit is open.
Possible Causes: 
  • ETBTACM connector is unplugged
  • TACM+ circuit open
  • TACM+ circuit short to voltage
  • TACM- circuit open
  • TACM- circuit short to voltage
  • TACM+ and TACM- circuits are short together
  • TAC motor has an open winding
  • Damaged TAC motor
Diagnostic Aids:  A TAC motor circuit PID reading may indicate a concern, if available.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to Pinpoint Test DV .
