Active Grille Shutter: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the cooling fan motor and shroud. Refer to: Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud .
1. Disconnect the electrical connector, detach the wire harness retainer and position the wire harness aside.
2. Remove the bolts and the radiator support bracket.
  Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
3. Remove the lower radiator insulators.

1. Release the tabs and position aside the active grille shutter.
2. Remove the upper radiator insulators.

Release the clips and position the lower air deflector toward the front bumper. Remove the active grille shutter.
