Pinpoint Test Ad : B1142:29: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The DDM/ PDM communicates with the BCM over the CAN. If the DDM/ PDM does not receive the ignition ON status message from the BCM during the self-test, a DTC sets.

DDM/ PDM DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
B1142:29 Ignition Status 1: Signal Invalid Sets when the DDM/ PDM has not received the ignition ON message from the BCM during the self-test.
