All the chimes are inoperative IPC VERIFY the IPC gauges and indicators are functioning correctly.
The chime always sounds Refer to the Diagnostic Routine GO to Pinpoint Test AJ .
The adaptive cruise control warning chime is inoperative Cruise control system
IPC		 VERIFY the adaptive cruise control display functions in the message center when the adaptive cruise control is in operation.
The air bag secondary warning chime is inoperative/has activated IPC RETRIEVE the recorded DTCs from the IPC self-test.
  • If IPC DTC P1534:01 is not present, the system is operating correctly. The air bag secondary warning chime sounds only when a fault in the air bag warning indicator is present and DTC P1534:01 is recorded.
  • If IPC DTC P1534:01 is present, IPC HARDWARE TESTING .
The Belt-Minder ® feature does not operate correctly Refer to the Diagnostic Routine GO to Pinpoint Test AP .
The BLIS ® /CTA warning chime is inoperative Refer to the Diagnostic Routine GO to Pinpoint Test AK .
The door ajar warning chime is inoperative Door ajar indication concern

IPC		 VERIFY the safety belt warning chime operates for 6 seconds following ignition ON.
The headlamps on warning chime is inoperative Refer to the Diagnostic Routine GO to Pinpoint Test AL .
The key-in-ignition warning chime is inoperative Refer to the Diagnostic Routine GO to Pinpoint Test AM .
The memory-stored feedback chime is inoperative Refer to the Diagnostic Routine GO to Pinpoint Test AN .
The message center warning chime is inoperative IPC DISCONNECT the brake fluid level switch and VERIFY that the message center warning chime sounds when the message center displays CHECK BRAKE SYSTEM.
  • If the message center warning chime sounds when the CHECK BRAKE SYSTEM message appears, the system is operating correctly at this time. The message center warning chime only sounds when the message center displays a new warning message.
  • If the message center warning chime does not sound when the CHECK BRAKE SYSTEM message appears, IPC HARDWARE TESTING .
The overspeed warning chime is inoperative Refer to the Diagnostic Routine GO to Pinpoint Test BK .
The parking brake warning chime is inoperative Refer to the Diagnostic Routine GO to Pinpoint Test AO .
The perimeter alarm warning chime is inoperative Perimeter alarm concern
IPC		 VERIFY the perimeter alarm functions correctly and the headlamps on warning chime operates with the headlamps on, ignition OFF and the driver door open.
  • If the perimeter alarm functions correctly and the headlamps on warning chime sounds, REFER to Anti-Theft Perimeter to diagnose the perimeter alarm.
  • If the perimeter alarm functions correctly and the headlamps on warning chime does not sound, IPC HARDWARE TESTING .
  • If the perimeter alarm does not operate correctly, REFER to Anti-Theft Perimeter .
The safety belt warning chime does not operate correctly Refer to the Diagnostic Routine GO to Pinpoint Test AP .
The service AdvanceTrac ® warning chime is inoperative Stabilty-traction control indication concern
IPC		 VERIFY the headlamps on warning chime operates with the headlamps on, ignition OFF and the driver door open.
  • If the headlamps on warning chime sounds, GO to Pinpoint Test O  to diagnose the stability-traction control indicator (sliding car icon).
  • If the headlamps on warning chime does not sound, IPC HARDWARE TESTING .
The turn/hazard on warning chime is inoperative Refer to the Diagnostic Routine GO to Pinpoint Test AQ .
The turn signal left on warning chime is inoperative Refer to the Diagnostic Routine GO to Pinpoint Test AR .
