Hill Start Assist Chime

The hill start assist chime sounds through the front speakers and provides a audible alert to draw the driver to the message center to view the status of the hill start assist system. The IPC receives the hill start assist chime request from the BCM. The BCM receives the hill start assist chime request from the ABS module.

When a chime request is received, the IPC sends the IPC chime request message to the ACM (without Sony audio system) and audio DSP (with Sony audio system) to sound the chime.
