Pinpoint Test Y : B1087:83, B1087:86 Or B1087:88: Notes
Refer to Wiring Diagrams Cell 117 for schematic and connector information.
Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
REFER to: Handles, Locks, Latches and Entry Systems.
The DDM and PDM communicate with the corresponding RDM over a LIN. The window control switch on the driver door also provides information to the DDM over the same LIN. In the event of a failure on a LIN, the power windows, power locks and switch illumination are inoperative in the corresponding rear door. If there is a LIN failure for the DDM, the controls from the driver window control switch are also inoperative.
DDM/ PDM DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
| DTC | Description | Fault Trigger Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| B1087:83 | LIN Bus "A": Value Of Signal Protection Calculation Incorrect | Sets when the DDM/ PDM receives invalid data over the LIN. |
| B1087:86 | LIN Bus "A": Signal Invalid | Sets when the DDM/ PDM receives invalid data over the LIN. |
| B1087:88 | LIN Bus "A": Bus Off | Sets when the DDM/ PDM receives no data over the LIN. An open or short on the LIN can cause this. |
Possible Causes
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
