Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

The BCM communicates with the rear video camera through a LIN circuit. Refer to: Parking Aid - System Operation and Component Description .

DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

DTC	Description	Fault Trigger Conditions
B12BD:83	Rear Camera: Value of Signal Protection Calculation Incorrect	Sets in continuous memory when the BCM detects that a message received from the video camera on the LIN communication circuit does not match the associated message checksum.
B12BD:86	Rear Camera: Signal Invalid	Sets in continuous memory when the BCM detects an invalid message from the video camera on the LIN circuit.
U0264:87	Lost Communication With Camera Module - Rear: Missing Message	Sets in continuous memory when the BCM cannot communicate with the video camera via the LIN circuit.
