Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud: Removal

If equipped, remove the retainers and the front lip seal.

Remove the radiator side air deflectors pin-type retainers.

- 7.
Remove the radiator side air deflectors.
- 1.
Remove the radiator side air deflector retainers.
- 2.
Release the tab and remove the radiator side air deflectors.

- 8.
Loosely install the cable ties at both sides. Use the General Equipment: Cable Ties

- 9.
Remove the front lower crossmember.
- 1.
Remove the grommets and the front lower crossmember bracket bolts.Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- 2.
Remove the bolts and the front lower crossmember.Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

- 10.
Disconnect the cooling fan motor electrical connector and detach the wiring retainer.

Detach the retainers and position aside the hoses.

Release the cooling fan motor and shroud upper tabs.

Lift up and remove the cooling fan motor and shroud.
