Cooling Module: Removal

- 1.WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this service information, refer to Safety Warnings in GENERAL INFORMATION . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

- 2.
Recover the A/C system. REFER to: Air Conditioning (A/C) System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging .
- 3.
Drain the cooling system. REFER to: Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- 4.
Remove the air cleaner. REFER to: Air Cleaner .
- 7.NOTE: Install new O-rings and gasket seals during installation.
Remove the fasteners and the A/C lines. Discard the O-rings and gasket seals.
Torque
: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)
- 8.
Pull the radiator hoses spring clips until the end of the clips are in the detent on the quick connect coupling and disconnect the radiator hoses.
- 11.
Detach the electrical connectors and the wiring harness retainer from the lower radiator support.
- 12.
Install the cooling module and the fasteners. If previously equipped, install a new rivet.Torque
: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
