Reset the Oil Change Indicator: Activation

  1. NOTE: The message center displays the engine oil change due message.

    Ignition OFF.

  2. Place the ignition in ACC.
  3. Press the accelerator pedal to the floor while pressing the brake pedal. Do not start the engine.
  4. Keep the pedals fully pressed for a minimum of 20 seconds.
  5. After the engine oil change due message clears, place the ignition OFF.
  6. Start the vehicle and make sure the engine oil change due message is no longer displayed in the message center.
