Air Conditioning (A/C) Clutch and Air Conditioning (A/C) Clutch Field Coil: Installation

NOTE: A new A/C compressor may come equipped with a clutch and pulley. If not, the A/C clutch components should be reused unless obvious signs of damage are found.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

2.

Add or remove spacers between the clutch plate hub and the A/C compressor shaft until the clearance is within specification. Refer to: Air Conditioning (A/C) Clutch Air Gap Adjustment .
