Removal and Installation

NOTE:
Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.
NOTE:
Prior to the removal of the module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to a scan tool. This information must be downloaded into the new Driver Seat Module (DSM) after installation. For additional information, REFER to

- Remove the driver seat. For additional information, REFER to Driver Seat .
- Remove the 2 screws.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
- Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the DSM.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
Once the module is installed it is necessary to download the module configuration information from the scan tool into the new DSM. For additional information, REFER to
