Output Shaft Speed (OSS) Sensor: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. Disconnect the Output Shaft Speed (OSS) sensor connector.

  3. NOTE: Prior to removing the sensor, make sure that the area around the sensor is free of foreign material to prevent contamination entering the transmission.
  4. Remove the OSS sensor.
    1. Remove the bolt.
    2. Remove the OSS sensor.
