Ignition Lock Cylinder - Non Functional: Installation

  1. Using a suitable tool, carefully rotate the "D shaped" rotor in the steering column, one click clockwise, to the ACC position.
  2. Position the new ignition lock cylinder to the ACC position.
  3. Insert the ignition lock cylinder into the ignition lock cylinder access hole located on the steering column.
    • Make sure to align the locking pin with the locking pin access hole.
  4. Install the steering wheel. For additional information, refer to STEERING COLUMN .
  5. Rotate the ignition key through all lock cylinder positions to check for correct operation.
