Ignition Lock Cylinder - Functional: Removal

  1. Remove the Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) transceiver. For additional information, refer to ANTI-THEFT - PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) .
  2. Remove the ignition lock cylinder in the following sequence:
    1. Insert the ignition key and position the ignition lock cylinder to the ACC position.
    2. Using a suitable tool, depress the ignition lock cylinder release pin through the access hole while pulling the ignition lock cylinder outward.
