Steering Column Control Module (SCCM): Removal

- If installing a new module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool prior to removing the module. This information must be downloaded into the new module after installation.
- Remove the steering column shrouds. REFER to STEERING COLUMN SHROUD .
- Remove the steering wheel. REFER to STEERING WHEEL .
- Disconnect the 3 SCCM
electrical connectors.
- Remove the 2 SCCM screws.
- Push the SCCM
locking tab upward and remove the SCCM
