SYMPTOM CHART

Condition	Possible Sources	Action
All the stoplamps are inoperative	Fuse Wiring, terminals or connectors Adaptive cruise control stoplamp relay Stoplamp switch Smart Junction Box (SJB)	VERIFY the bulbs are OK. If OK, GO to PINPOINT TEST K .
One or more stoplamps are inoperative	Wiring, terminals or connectors Rear lamp jumper harness High mounted stoplamp Rear window glass	VERIFY the bulb(s) are OK. If OK, GO to PINPOINT TEST L .
The stoplamps are on continuously	Wiring, terminals or connectors Adaptive cruise control stoplamp relay Stoplamp switch ABS module Remote Function Actuator (RFA) module SJB PCM	GO to PINPOINT TEST M .
The stoplamps do not activate when the adaptive cruise control system slows the vehicle	Adaptive cruise control stoplamp relay ABS module	REFER to CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM article.
