NOTE: Refer to DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION , INTELLIGENT ACCESS WITH PUSH BUTTON START to review the procedures for achieving the various ignition states (ignition OFF, ignition in ACCESSORY, ignition ON, ignition START) on vehicles with this feature.
SYMPTOM CHART

Condition Possible Sources Action
  • All power windows are inoperative
  • Fuse(s)
  • Accessory delay relay
  • Circuitry
  • LH front window control switch
  • Smart Junction Box (SJB)
  • All passenger power windows are inoperative - SHO, Limited
  • Circuitry
  • LH front window control switch
  • CARRY OUT the LH front window control switch component test. Refer to COMPONENT TESTING Article for component testing. If the LH front window control switch passes the component test, REPAIR circuit CPW14 (VT/WH) for an open. TEST the system for normal operation. If the LH front window control switch does not pass the component test, INSTALL a new LH window control switch. REFER to WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH  . TEST the system for normal operation.
  • Both rear power windows are inoperative - SHO, Limited
  • Circuit breaker
  • Circuitry
  • VERIFY Smart Junction Box (SJB) circuit breaker 47 (30A) is OK. If OK, REPAIR circuit CBP47 (GN/BU) for an open. TEST the system for normal operation. If not OK, REFER to the SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS Article to identify the possible causes of the circuit short. REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
  • All passenger power windows are inoperative - SE, SEL

  • A single power window is inoperative - RH front, SHO, Limited

  • RH front window regulator motor
  • A single power window is inoperative - RH front, SE, SEL

  • LH or RH front window control switch
  • RH front window regulator motor
  • A single power window is inoperative - LH rear
  • Circuitry
  • LH front window control switch
  • LH rear window control switch
  • LH rear window regulator motor
  • A single power window is inoperative - RH rear

  • RH rear window control switch
  • RH rear window regulator motor
  • The one-touch up/down feature is inoperative
  • Window regulator motor not intialized
  • Battery power was lost while window was operating
