Pinpoint Test

  1. RETRIEVE THE RECORDED Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) FROM THE Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) SELF-TEST
    1. Using a scan tool, perform the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) self-test.
    • Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded? 
    1. Yes:  REFER to DTC CHART: INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) .
    2. No:  GO to on page 2.
  2. RETRIEVE THE RECORDED Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) FROM THE All Terrain Control Module (ATCM) SELF-TEST
    1. Using a scan tool, perform the All Terrain Control Module (ATCM) self-test.
    • Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) recorded? 
    1. Yes:  REFER to DTC CHART: ALL TERRAIN CONTROL MODULE (ATCM) .
    2. No:  GO to on page 2.
  3. CHECK THE DISPLAY MODE MENU
  1. On the optional Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC), in the display mode menu, press the Left Hand (LH) steering wheel switch to the right to display the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) gauge.
  2. On the base Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC), in the Information display mode, press the Left Hand (LH) steering wheel switch to the right then down to display the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) gauge.
  1. Yes:  The all terrain display is operating correctly at this time. The display was not set to the correct display mode.
  2. No:  INSTALL a new Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) .
