- The engine only starts with the key in the backup slot and no DTCs present

- ATTEMPT to start the engine using two different IA
keys, using one at a time. Place an IA
key on top of the center console and push the start/stop switch and brake.
- If the engine starts with only one of the keys on top of the center console, INSTALL a new battery in the inoperative IA
key.
- If the engine does not start with either key on top of the center console, ENABLE the IA
feature with a scan tool.
