P0A28 - Hybrid Battery Power Off Circuit Low

P0A28 - HYBRID BATTERY POWER OFF CIRCUIT LOW

Description:  The powertrain control module (PCM) continuously monitors the battery power off (BPO) circuit and the controller area network (CAN) signal for a BPO request from the traction control module (TBCM). This DTC indicates that the PCM detected the BPO request, sent from TBCM through the circuit and the CAN signal.
Possible Causes: 
  • Damaged TBCM
Diagnostic Aids:   
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All   refer to PINPOINT TEST QE .
