Oil Pump: Installation

  1. Clean all the sealing surfaces.

  2. Install the oil pump and the bolt.
    • Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
  3. Install the oil pan. For additional information, refer to Engine Lubrication Components - Exploded View  and Oil Pan - Rear Wheel Drive (RWD)  or Oil Pan - Four Wheel Drive (4WD)  in this article.
  4. Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES article.
