Seat Backrest Latch - Rear: Installation

Non-hybrid vehicles
- Attach the release cable to the latch.
- Route the release cable, position the release handle and bracket to the 2 studs and install the 2 nuts.
- Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
- Install the 2 release cable pin-type retainers.
- Position the trim and install the pin-type retainer.
All vehicles
- Position the latch and install the nuts.
- Adjust the latch. For additional information, refer to SEAT LATCH ADJUSTMENT - REAR in the General Procedures portion of this article.
- Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
- Install the parcel shelf. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
