Brake Disc: Installation

  1. Clean any rust or foreign material from brake disc and wheel hub.
    • Use specified brake parts cleaner to clean the front brake disc and hub surfaces.
  2. Apply a thin coat of anti-seize lubricant to the hub flange.
  3. Install the brake disc.
  4. Install a new brake disc screw.
    • Tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).
  5. Position the brake caliper and brake caliper anchor plate assembly and install 2 new bolts.
    • Tighten to 150 Nm (111 lb-ft).
  6. Install the wheel and tire. For additional information, refer to WHEELS & TIRES .
