Removal and Installation
- Remove the air intake scoop. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
- Drain the engine coolant. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
- Drain the supercharger coolant. For additional information, refer to SUPERCHARGER COOLING .
- Remove the nut and position the wiring harness aside.
- Remove the stud and position the coolant hose assembly aside.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Disconnect the coolant hoses.
- Remove the push pins and the radiator sight shield.
- Remove the bolts and the degas bottle.
- Remove the supercharger drive belt cover.
- Rotate the supercharger belt tensioner clockwise and remove the supercharger drive belt.
- Disconnect the supercharger coolant hose.
- Remove the coolant hose mounting bolt.
- Remove the nut.
- Remove the fasteners and position the power steering reservoir aside.
- Remove the A/C muffler bracket nut and position it aside.
- Remove the belt idler bracket support assembly.
- Loosen the coolant pump pulley bolts.
- Rotate the belt tensioner and position the belt from the pulley.
- Remove the accessory drive belt. .
- Remove the bolts and the coolant pump pulley.
- Remove the four bolts and the coolant pump.
- If necessary, wipe the coolant pump mounting surface with a soft cloth.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.

CAUTION:
Do not rotate the coolant pump housing once installed in the engine. Damage to the O-ring seal can occur, causing the coolant pump to leak.
NOTE:
Install a new O-ring seal and lubricate with the same clean engine coolant that is present in the system. Do not mix coolant types.
