Test 4: Sufficient Clean Fuel: Purpose

Purpose of this test is to see if fuel system is getting sufficient clean fuel to start and run engine.

Sufficient Clean Fuel

Check if the WATER IN FUEL indicator has been illuminated.
After verifying that there is fuel in the tank, drain a sample from the fuel pump module.
Cetane rating between 40-50 is recommended for optimum performance.
