Recommended Procedure

Use the scan tool PID EP. A low RPM or EP reading above 34 psi (234 kPa) indicates a restricted exhaust condition.
- Disconnect wiring at EOT.
- Run engine at wide open throttle (WOT).
- Read EP on scan tool or DVOM.
EP reading should be less than 34 psi (234 kPa) at 4000 RPM.
