Recommended Procedure

Install the scan tool. Turn A/C off. Access IPR PID on scan tool and monitor. Operate the engine at 670 RPM. If the duty cycle is below 30 percent, see TEST 16: BOOST PRESSURE TEST . If the duty cycle is above 30 percent, see TEST 10C: MONITOR ICP PID WHILE CRANKING under HARD START/NO-START DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES and check for an injection control system leak.
