Trouble Shooting

  1. Verify customer concern by observing indicators and gauges to determine correct operation with ignition switch in ON position, with engine off, in START before ignition switch is released and in ON with engine running.
  2. Visually inspect Central Junction Box (CJB) fuse No. 9, 10, 14, 16 and 28 (all 10-amp). Visually inspect Battery Junction Box (BJB) fuse No. 2 (10-amp), No. 13 (30-amp) and No. 23 (15-amp). Check for damaged circuitry, connectors, switches or sensors. Check for low washer fluid, engine oil, engine coolant or brake fluid. Check for damaged fuel tank and damaged accessory drive belt.
  3. If inspection reveals obvious concern(s) that can be readily identified, repair as necessary. If concern remains after inspection, perform self-diagnostics. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM .
