These may be selected through 3 buttons: INFO, SETUP and RESET. Information displays are compass/outside temp, distance to empty, average fuel economy, instantaneous fuel economy, trip elapsed drive time and message display ON/OFF. Setup displays are timed modes and terminate after a finite interval. Setup display modes are: language, English/metric units, system check, oil life status, oil life in percent charge system status, washer and brake fluid levels, driver's and passenger's front door, driver's and passenger's rear door and rear hatch door positions, headlight, brakelight, front and rear turn lamp status, fuel level status and distance to empty. Warning messages are single cycle, non rescuable and repetitive warning messages. Single cycle warning messages are as follows: change oil soon, oil change required, low washer and low brake fluid level, traction control disabled, check headlights, brakelights, tail lights, front turn lights and rear turn lights. Single cycle warning messages can be cleared by pressing RESET button, and are displayed only once when ignition switch is turned to ON position or when fault occurs in system. Repetitive warning messages are: check charging system, transmission overheated, check transmission and low fuel level. To remove repetitive warning message, press RESET button.
