Transaxle Dynamic Drive Cycle Test: Upshift/Downshift

NOTE: LEDs on Transmission Tester (007-00130) will turn Green when solenoids activate. Ensure appropriate overlay is used with Transmission Tester.
  1. Remove line pressure gauge. Ensure gear select switch on transmission tester is in "1" position. Shift transaxle to "OD" position and accelerate to 15 MPH. Rotate gear select switch to "2" position. Transaxle should shift into 2nd gear. Accelerate to 25 MPH and rotate gear select switch to "3" position. Transaxle should shift into 3rd gear.
  2. Accelerate to 35-45 MPH and rotate gear select switch to "4" position. Transaxle should shift into 4th gear. Reverse test procedure for downshifts. Ensure solenoid LEDs function as described for each shift. Transaxle should downshift through each gear.
