Output Shaft Speed Sensor Or Turbine Shaft Speed Sensor

The Output Shaft Speed (OSS) or Turbine Shaft Speed (TSS) sensor is a magnetic pick-up that sends output shaft speed or turbine shaft speed signal to PCM. Malfunction of sensor may cause harsh engagements of shifts. Lack of 4th gear or no engine braking in 2nd or 3rd gear may result.
