Test Ac: No Start (Alt Fuel Switch Indicator Is On, Then Off): Notes

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2000 Mercury Mystique, 2000 Ford Pickup, 2000 Ford F550 Super Duty, 2000 Ford F450 Super Duty, and 2000 Ford Contour. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: This fault can be mistaken as an auto switch to GAS mode condition. Ensure manual shutoff valves (1/4 turn valves) and manual tank valves (if equipped) are open. If vehicle is equipped with dual LPG tanks, check ALT operation in both LPG positions of ALT fuel switch.
NOTE: On F150 vehicles, there is an excess flow valve at LPG fuel tank. If excess fuel flow valve is engaged it will not allow fuel flow from tank. To reset excess flow valve, close manual tank valve and reopen manual tank valve slowly.
