Oil Pan: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Apply silicone sealant at rear main bearing cap and front cover-to-cylinder block areas before installing oil pan.
  2. Apply Contact Adhesive (D7AZ-19B508-A) on gasket and install on oil pan. Tighten oil pan bolts to specification. Loosen all bolts, and retighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure. Fill crankcase with oil.
