Test D: Low Fuel Warning Indicator Light Does Not Come On

Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Observe fuel gauge. If gauge reads correctly, go to next step. If gauge does not read correctly, perform TEST C: FUEL GAUGE READS INCORRECTLY .
Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove LOW FUEL warning light bulb. Test bulb for continuity. If bulb is okay, replace instrument cluster. If bulb is not okay, replace bulb.
